The events give clients the opportunity to learn tricks and techniques from salon experts so they can create them at home with confidence.
The Hair Academy launched last year and has already focused on buns and braids and top-knots and waves. The latest tutorial took the festival vibe to Kintore with a braid bar and glitter galore at Bex’s Glam Bar where the salon’s resident make-up-artist was on hand and armed with sparkle.
Rebecca Carr said: “We are delighted with the success of the Hair Academy. The events sell-out in a number of hours and I think everyone who attends enjoys it as much as we enjoy hosting them.
“With this theme, we just wanted to have the chance to go wild and experiment with really fun summer looks. It also gave attendees the chance to try out Bex’s Glam Bar which offers several hair and make-up packages daily.
“Running the tutorial sessions also gives us the chance to engage with our local community, giving back to our area is a big part of our salon’s values.
“The response to the Hair Academy is exciting and we have had great feedback. We make it our mission to continue to stay ahead of trends and techniques so we can pass these on to our clients and ensure the North-East of Scotland has access to the industry’s best.”
